The series has now started production, with actors Lars Mikkelsen, Jodhi May, Björn Hlynur Haraldsson, Eamon Farren, Maciej Musiał, Wilson Radjou-Pujalte, Anna Shaffer, Joey Batey, and Royce Pierreson also in the cast, according to Deadline. Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, who worked on Marvel’s Daredevil is the writer, executive producer and showrunner of the series. The Witcher doesn’t have an official release date, but should be out sometime in 2019.
