Ryan Reynolds’ Aviation American Gin has reached new heights: It’s now being served on Virgin Atlantic flights and in the airline’s clubhouses, according to a press release. In a promotional video released this morning, the Deadpool star and Sir Richard Branson have a quick back-and-forth attempting to explain their new relationship. As much as Reynolds wants this to be a merger, Sir Richard assures us that it’s only a partnership. Starting on September 30th, select passengers on Virgin Atlantic flights will be treated to a special cocktail experience put on by mixologists from notable bars like The Dead Rabbit in New York City and Smuggler’s Cove in San Francisco. Virgin Atlantic and Aviation Gin will also host an event at London’s Old Truman Brewery as part of the city’s Cocktail Week, which will run from October 3rd to October 7th.

“I’m delighted Virgin Atlantic is working with Ryan and his team on this partnership,” Sir Richard Branson said in a statement. “Aviation Gin was born out of a spirit of innovation, so serving it on board Virgin Atlantic flights seemed like the perfect combination.” “For Aviation to be chosen as the gin of choice for such an iconic and quintessentially British brand is a complete honor,” Reynolds stated. “We look forward to serving Virgin Atlantic guests for years to come and, on a personal note, Sir Richard has promised to teach me the difference between revenue and profit, so I am beyond excited.” The pair will continue to be featured in co-branded digital content, so look forward to more videos like the one below:
