HBO’s hit series Westworld is back, and chaos is taking over. Following the explosive first season finale that saw the park overrun by android “hosts,” the trailer for season two—which premieres on April 22—sets up the major conflicts to come. With the androids becoming more self-aware, Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood), Teddy (James Marsden), Bernard (Jeffrey Wright), and Maeve (Thandie Newton) are learning more about themselves, and the park that serves as their “home.”

The scope of the new season looks even wider than the last. The trailer has a glimpse of the samurai-themed “Shogunworld,” which could be the first of many other Delos-owned amusement parks that neighbor Westworld, and shows off footage in the labs and the production facilities that help supply the park with androids. The expanded storytelling may mean that fans will end up learning a lot more about the shady dealings of the Delos Corporation, the group that runs Westworld and the other parks. The trailer reveals some of the other returning characters to the show, including the Man in Black (Ed Harris), William (Jimmi Simpson, playing a younger version of the Man in Black), android Hector Escaton (Rodrigo Santoro), Westworld security leader Ashley Stubbs (Luke Hemsworth), and Delos’ executive director Charlotte Hale (Tessa Thompson).
