John Wall is arguably the hardest-working man in basketball—and the season ended two months ago. The Washington Wizards star enjoyed a busy regular season in which he played the second-most minutes per game among point guards (36.4), right behind Kyle Lowry. He logged more assists per game than any other point guard (10.7), more overall assists than any player not named James Harden, and ranked just behind Russell Westbrook in double-doubles at the position (50). Wall’s season ended after he led the Wizards to just a single game shy of the Eastern Conference Finals. Wall’s immensely successful season culminated in mid-July when he was awarded a four-year, $170 million contract to remain at the helm of the Washington offense.  Despite becoming a very rich man, Wall hasn’t rested on his laurels this offseason. A 15-second clip of Wall showing off with some impossibly crisp no-look passing manifested itself in the now-viral “John Wall Challenge.” A new documentary following Wall’s hectic off-season showcases his intense training regimen—one that includes resistance-band running, cycling, and, as seen in his latest Instagram video, some sparring:

Wish you well as you can tell this upcoming year I’m bringing hell…#WallWay #5Deep #BYB !! A post shared by johnwall (@johnwall) on Aug 8, 2017 at 3:04pm PDT

Just two months into the NBA off-season and Wall looks as prepared as anyone headed into 2018.
