Love crushing long drives on the golf course? Then the Volvik World Long Drive Championship is just for you. The event, presented by Performance Inspired, is finishing up on September 6, and will be broadcast live on the Golf Channel at 9 p.m. ET. After starting off with 96 long-drivers, it’s now down to eight players vying for the title. The event is finishing up with the Open Division quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals, as well as the Women’s Division semifinals and finals. There’s plenty of money on the line for the final competitors. The men’s champion will take home $125,000, and the women’s champion will pocket $20,000. The Open Division has matchups between Wes Patterson and Mitch Grassing; Tim Burke and Kyle Berkshire; Justin James and Paul Howell; and Will Hogue against Nick Kiefer. During the Round of 16, Hogue smashed a 437-yard drive—the longest of anyone in the round—that helped push him into the final round. Check out the major shot:
