Everyone in Boston was excited to celebrate the Red Sox’s World Series win at the team victory parade on Wednesday, October 31. But one fan got a little too riled up during the festivities and chucked a full beer at the Red Sox World Series trophy, according to Boston.com.   In order to view the video, please allow Manage Cookies

  The team confirmed the can damaged the trophy while players were hoisting it up on one of the duck boats. In multiple videos of the incident, you can see the beer knock over some of the gold-plated flags that halo the trophy.

Even though the trophy was damaged, it’s nothing to worry about for the Red Sox. The damage was “minimal,” “not a big deal,” and will be “easily repaired,” Red Sox spokeswoman Zineb Curran told Boston.com. Here’s a video of the incident:
