With a perfect 37-0 record and 33 KOs over his illustrious career, WBA/WBC/IBF/IBO middleweight world champion and knockout artist Gennady “GGG” Golovkin has rightly earned a reputation as boxing‘s most dangerous fighter. He’ll look to maintain that reputation on Saturday night, when he faces off against Ring Magazine middleweight world champion Canelo Alvarez (49-1-1, 34 KOs) at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, in what has become one of the most anticipated fights in years. On his press tour through New York, the 35-year-old spoke with Men’s Fitness about his training, what this fight means for his sport, and the opportunity to cement his place in history with a win.
