In case you missed it, the first trailer for the much-anticipated film introduced Hardy as Eddie Brock, an investigative journalist on a mission to expose the Life Foundation for what it truly is—an organization that performs dangerous science experiments involving an alien symbiote. And while the action-packed trailer provided a glimpse of the alien symbiote that later transforms Brock into the film’s titular creature, it excluded any shots of Brock in Venom form.
