There are places where you just shouldn’t be able to ski: across busy intersections, over school busses, on the back of a tow truck. Apparently pro freeskier Tom Wallisch doesn’t know this. If there’s a tiny amount of snow blanketing his surroundings (or sometimes, even if there’s not), Wallisch can turn it into a run. He does so in an astounding new video released by The North Face and the production company Sherpas Cinema. Entitled “Imagination,” the four-minute film was shot in Nelson, British Columbia, last March.

“This video project was one of most challenging, yet rewarding projects I’ve ever been apart of,” Wallisch said in a press release. Auclair filmed a similar video in the same town as part of the critically acclaimed ski movie All.I.Can. Wallisch and the filmmakers harken back to Auclair using mirroring technique, most notably breathtaking shots down the town’s long streets. “I swear I could feel JP guiding us on the video as we shot it,” Wallisch said.
