A U.S. Navy pilot’s skywriting made for some phallic photos. The Navy outpost at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island in Washington state had to apologize after complaints that one of its pilots drew a penis in the sky.

The Whidbey Island station sent a statement to KREM2 News condemning the air art when a local mother sent the news station a complaint that the sky wiener would negatively impact her children. She was worried she might have to tell her children what the large object in the sky was. The horror! “The Navy holds its aircrew to the highest standards and we find this absolutely unacceptable, of zero training value and we are holding the crew accountable,” the Navy’s statement read.
