Stallone previously played Rambo four times in First Blood (1982), Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985), Rambo III (1988), and Rambo (2008). With a title like Last Blood, it’s likely that this will be the last ride for Stallone as Rambo, but people also thought that after the 2008 installment.
TriStar/Getty Images Stallone isn’t just revisiting his classic Rambo character coming up. Stallone will be seen in Creed II, where he’s reprising his role as Rocky Balboa alongside Michael B. Jordan’s Adonis Creed. In that film, Rocky will go face-to-face with one of his biggest foes, Dolph Lundgren’s Ivan Drago, as Creed takes on Drago’s son Viktor, who is played by Muscle & Fitness cover star and pro boxer Florian Munteanu.

Stallone also might be back for a fourth installment of the Expendables sometime in the near future, although it’s not official yet if his buddies Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham, and Terry Crews will return as well. Rambo 5: Last Blood doesn’t yet have a release date, but could be out in 2019.
