Another Agenda Long Beach show has come and gone, and left in its wake another wave of new product set to have us looking forward to everything 2018 has to offer.

Slowtide’s Chippa Wilson collaboration features 70s vibe prints and cheeky illustrations. Photo: Hayley Helms Slowtide continued bringing unique, fun prints to their product for this show, including their Chippa Wilson collaboration, seen above. The towel brand made their move into blankets in 2017, and 2018 brings us new designs in that category as well. The towels are made in a factory in North Carolina, and have a heavyweight feel that’s welcome on a windy beach day. Deus Ex Machina
Deus Ex Machina’s embroidered jacket caught our eye on the show floor. Photo: Hayley Helms Embroidery has been a continuing trend for the last few seasons and (by the looks of this Deus Ex Machina jacket) seems to be showing no signs of slowing down heading into Fall 2018. Nixon
Nixon’s custom watch station/ booth was packed for the entire show. Photo: Hayley Helms Nixon pivoted this year from having a closed-off booth to opening up, hosting a custom watch station for attendees to make their own watches. The brand had a private showroom upstairs that showed new product. Herschel
Herschel’s fall color palette. Photo: Hayley Helms We’re calling it folks: mustard yellow is going to be BIG in 2018, and Herschel was right on trend. Their varied color palette, including camos, blues and the bright yellow hue, brought a unique yet cohesive feel to the booth, and the line. Vans
Leila Hurst’s collaboation with Vans had us looking forward to Fall 2018. Photo: Hayley Helms Leila Hurst’s surf collection for Vans had us counting down the days until Fall 2018 hits. With its minimal color palette, the collection appeals to anyone with an eye for design. Yeti
Yeti’s cooler and insulated cup offerings are getting an updated color offering this fall. Make way for coral. Photo: Hayley Helms
A trend we saw reverberating throughout the show floor was the emphasis on continued styles and silhouettes with updated colorways. Yeti was one example of this, with the addition of their coral colorway to their key products.
Makara
Makara is a European swimwear brand that made their move to the U.S. in 2017. This was Makara’s first Agenda Show, where they showed off elevated basics with thoughtful design details. Photo: Hayley Helms Bringing basic designs and elevated fabrics together, Makara managed to stand out from the swim crowd and catch our eye as we cruised the showroom floor. The brand is just over three years old, but is already making big waves. Timbuk2
Looking for a way to take your dog on your next adventure without their precious paws touching the ground? Consider Timbuk2’s dog-carrying pack, shown above. Photo: Hayley Helms Timbuk2 is no stranger to custom bags – it’s what the brand was built on. Their dog carry bag is a functional, fun take on transportation. ENO Hammocks
The Eno Nomad Shelter is the perfect kit for Baja camping, beach trips and more. Photo: Hayley Helms Perfect for Baja camping, the ENO Hammock comes in three pieces: the frame, the cover and the hammock itself. Rounding in at about $500 for the complete kit, ENO says it’s perfect for on-the-go camping. Matador
This pack by Matador features a built-in water bladder and filtration system that cleans water as you drink, meaning if you’re traveling somewhere with suspect water, you’ll be able to stay hydrated. Photo: Hayley Helms
Matador’s backpacking pack features water-resistant fabrics and zippers, a built-in water filter and bladder, an inflatable back pad that can be removed at will, and best of all, packs down into a compact cylinder that makes it easily transportable.
