There’s nothing like a well-selected smartwatch to show the world that you’re a fit dude—one who can crush high-powered interval workouts and even the most brutal CrossFit WoDs—who also happens to care about this season’s trending style tips. If you’re one of those dudes (and if you’re a Men’s Fitness regular, then you probably are), then take a look at this latest partnership between Samsung and Tumi. The tech giant (which actually beat Apple to the smartwatch market) and luxury travel/lifestyle brand recently teamed up to create a special-edition version of the Samsung Gear S3 Frontier smartwatch. The most significant upgrade is the watchband, designed by Tumi in its signature early grey color, made with Italian canvas and a stainless-steel buckle. Basically, it’s about as fancy as a watchband can get while still being tough enough to withstand a hike through the Appalachians or a week of camping in the great outdoors. The special-edition watch also comes with a custom Tumi watchface, so your buddies (and your boss) know this isn’t your average smartwatch. On top of the premium band, you’ll also get a heart rate tracker (pretty much obligatory in smartwatches at this point), wireless charging, and built-in GPS. Samsung takes things up a notch with a built-in microphone and speaker so you can make hands-free calls, on top of being able to check your texts, emails, and receive notifications from apps like Facebook and Twitter. And while the watch may not exactly be minimalist—it’s certainly a burlier aesthetic—it’s actually pretty lightweight. (Our testers typically forgot they were wearing it).
