The monthly Style Plan is the best way to keep your closet staples up to date. Simply fill out a questionnaire, and the label’s style consultants pick out some items for you. You’ll be notified via email when the choices are ready, then all you have to do is follow the link to the website and accept the choices, veto any items you might not like, or swap a pick out for something else. You have 48 hours to make your selection, and then you’ll be shipped a box straight to your door.

Your box arrives within days, and you have seven days to try the stuff out. If you like it, then there’s nothing else to do but hang it in your closet. If you don’t, the return process is simple. Just go to the F and O website, print out a shipping return label, and mail it back within seven days. That’s it. Your account is credited within days and you’re ready to start again. If you choose to send everything in the box back, there is a $25 styling fee.

What I really enjoyed about Frank and Oak is the amount of control I had over what was in my Style Plan After filling out the quick and easy registration process and choosing my preferences as to what colors I prefer, my personal style, etc., it wasn’t long before I received an email with twelve or so items. Don’t want to opt in for a particular month? You can “Skip This Box,” so if you can’t afford a month, or simply choose not to get anything that time around, all you have to do is select that option and Frank and Oak skips you that time around. Pretty simple.

Using repurposed materials for both its materials and packaging, Frank and Oak is committed to minimizing its impact by prioritizing recycled fabrics and responsible practices throughout its supply chain. It began in 2017 with a commitment to making five percent of its clothes with minimal impact materials or processes. The following year they upped that number to 30 percent by introducing more organic and eco-friendly methods of both manufacturing and shipping. By the end of 2019, Frank and Oak estimates that approximately 50 percent of its products will be made with minimal impact processes. Its shipping bags boxes are fully recycled and recyclable.

New for spring, Frank and Oak’s new line of low-impact and Minimal essentials are great for anyone who’s concerned about how much their clothing affects their environmental footprint. From organic cotton t-shirts and hoodies to deconstructed blazers, dress pants, button-down shirts, and jeans, there’s something for every minimalist at Frank and Oak. There’s even a great selection of footwear. From leather boots, derbys, and chukkas handmade in Portugal to classic tennis shoes from Vans Converse, Reebok, New Balance, and more.

Frank and Oak is great for casual clothing, and anyone who’s looking for a comfortable, stylish, and affordable way to incorporate premium accessories into his existing closet should check it out. The rain gear is made of recycled plastic, and the denim is particularly great. The styles run the gamut from funky and colorful to simple and straight-up, so there’s something for everybody. It’s a great way to discover new fashion and keep up with the trends; it’s also the perfect way to keep your everyday essentials stocked up and fresh.
