Pornhub’s newest stunt has garnered attention in the public eye for a different reason. The company has opened a pop-up shop in New York City—and people are lining up to peruse the brand’s stuff. According to a (safe-for-work) press release, the company has produced a pretty bold slate: streetwear in collaboration with Richardson, Taschen books in partnership with the Museum of Sex, and, yes, sex toys and games. Interestingly enough, Pornhub launched the pop-up in the midst of high-fashion retailers the likes of Moschino and Céline—a strategic move to get a variety of consumers walking through its door. As for the space, Pornhub aimed to simulate the aesthetics of its homepage. There’s a bed inside where people are encouraged to interact with a live-feed camera that streams directly onto Pornhub’s website. Before you ask: Yes, it’s PG. The SoHo store—located on 70 Wooster Street—will be open to anyone over the age of 18 from November 24 to December 20, Monday to Saturday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET and Sundays 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. ET. A comparable boutique Pornhub shop will also open in Milan, Italy, at Via De Cristoforis 5 right by the illustrious Corso Como.
