A Pittsburgh man has been arrested after allegedly making a bomb threat to try and weasel out of paying his bill at a local restaurant.  Barry Clapperton, 40, is facing multiple charges including threats to use weapons of mass destruction, public drunkenness, and false identification to police. According to WPXI, Clapperton tried to leave multiple times from Pittsburgh’s famous Primanti Brothers without paying his bill. A witness told the TV station that another Primanti-goer actually paid for Clapperton’s bill and police were ready to let him go, until officers heard him call in the threat to a Hibachi restaurant down the street. Clapperton later told police his friends gave him the idea as a distraction.  According to the station, he ordered double meat on his sandwich, which he could not afford. He tried to evade police, but was taken down with a stun gun.  There was no word on if he was able to finish the meat-filled Pittsburgh delicacy or if he has remained friends with the buds who gave him the bright distraction idea in the first place. He has been unable to post bond.   Read the whole report at WPXI.
