Jim Beam might have a boycott on its barrels.  The hashtag #boycottbeam has hit social media after the whiskey brand’s spokesperson said she’d been donating to Planned Parenthood under Vice President Mike Pence’s name each month. Kunis, who has been a brand ambassador for Beam for three years, revealed her subtle troll while on Conan recently.  The actress told O’Brien, “every month, to his office, he gets a little letter that says an anonymous donation has been made in your name. I don’t look at it as a prank,” Kunis said. “It is a peaceful protest.”

A number of Beam’s more right-leaning drinkers were none too pleased when the revelation came out, prompting the boycott hashtag and calling for a number of things to happen to Kunis as a result of her protest. Some want her removed from her spokesperson post and others seem to notice Beam being absent from their liquor stores. Some folks did as internet commenters do and got personal.  https://twitter.com/JustinEmery777/status/928274368932741120?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw

Loved Jim Beam… But love Jack, Belle, Woodford, Bulleit, and of course, Maker’s, and they don’t have Mila. #BoycottBeam #BoycottJimBeam — Rich Gans (@Richard_Ganster) November 7, 2017

I was a big fan of @JimBeam, until I found out their spox #MilaKunis has been trolling @VP Pence like a petty juvenile delinquent. #BoycottBeam until U come to UR senses. — Dual CPU Processor (@maradacy) November 7, 2017

However, when perusing the hashtag a number of people are stoked about Kunis’s donations and are throwing support behind Jim Beam.

I rarely drink, much less whiskey, but this anti-Mila Kunis #BoycottBeam campaign just inspired me to try some. Where do I start? @JimBeam — Mia The Maven (@MiaTheMaven) November 6, 2017

I will not #BoycottBeam. In fact, I will now buy larger quantities! Awesome job #MilaKunis! — Dan Kandris (@dkan1030) November 8, 2017
