It’s a seemingly odd profession for a man who never competed as a pro boxer or a kickboxer. Instead, Arthur relies on his skills from years of bare-knuckle brawls in the far-flung corners of the earth and, even more improbably, his stint hunting down some of the nation’s worst criminals as an undercover agent. “The bare-knuckled fighting never bothered me,” he told Bonner. “But the first time I shot a guy—that still haunts me.” On the big screen, in his new Marvel action movie Ant-Man and the Wasp, our cover guy Paul Rudd also looks pretty tough—even if his character shrinks down to a diminutive size. But in real life, Mickey Rapkin discovers that he more or less lives up to his reputation as the nicest guy in Hollywood. For the issue, Rapkin spent a day with the actor, talking about the incredible feat of getting abs at age 49 and being the funniest self-described non-comedian in entertainment today.
