Once Suit learned of the incredible benefits of saltwater, he set out to raise awareness and money for folks battling the illness. Alongside three friends, he paddled ninety miles from Bimini to Florida in 2013 and raised $15,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation....

Through his Italian School for Lifeguard Dogs, Ferruccio Pilenga has trained more than 350 volunteer pups to execute water rescues in Toscolano-Maderno. After about 18 months, the rescue dogs can jump from speeding boats and helicopters safely to help with rescues....

Now that we all carry a camera in our pockets, photographic prints have become as disposable as, um, disposable cameras. For those who long for the permanence of prints, though, two modern products seek to fulfill that nostalgic desire. Bay Area startup Prynt and tech behemoth HP both offer nifty handheld devices that print images directly from your smartphone onto sticker printer paper, making 2×3-inch prints with peel-and-stick backs. Snowboarder/skateboarder Roope Tonteri is certainly never one to let barriers keep him from actualizing his DIY skate ramp ideas. And the Finnish creator’s latest endeavor was certainly no easy task. Tonteri, 26, created his own mini ramp with his father, Pekka, in -4 degrees Fahrenheit on top of a frozen lake in Kouvola, Finland. But not only that, it also rotates like a carousel. “The cold weather actually made it quite tricky,” Tonteri told Red Bull....
