This August, Birdsong Brewing will become the first brewery in Charlotte, North Carolina, to invest in solar paneling for its brewery’s electricity. Well, there’s always one new health claim that’ll suck the joy out of life. This week’s grim news from the health world: Even light to moderate alcohol consumption can cause cancer, according to a statement from the American Society of Clinical Oncology released Tuesday. Compared to abstaining from alcohol, consuming just one alcoholic drink each day boosts the risk of breast cancer by 5%, throat cancer by 17%, and esophageal cancer by 30%, according to the statement....

In August, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson posted an in-progress photo of his latest tattoo, an update of the iconic Brahma bull on his right arm. After four sessions and 30 hours, Johnson announced this week that the tattoo was finally complete.
