Adonis Creed has finally met his match. Romanian boxer Florian Munteanu has been cast as Michael B. Jordan’s opponent in Creed 2, which is expected to begin filming in March 2018, according to Variety. It’s not too often that the Big Island in the Hawaiian Island chain (also known simply as Hawaii) makes the news. This beautiful, mostly rural island is 4,000 square miles, but home to only about 185,000 people. It also happens to be home to the Kīlauea Volcano, which has been making worldwide news since it started erupting on May 4. Hawaii happenings have been pretty grave since. On October 1, ski mountaineers Hilaree Nelson and Jim Morrison became the first people to summit and ski down Lhotse in the Himalayas, according to Freeskier. The duo summited the 27,940-foot mountain (the fourth-tallest on earth) and skied down a 7,000 foot couloir, or narrow gully, in an epic 17-hour sprint. When I think about my time spent in northern Washington, one theme resurfaces over and over again: the quiet solitude.
