Portland, Oregon’s Fido’s thinks it has the solution: The bar is full of adoptable dogs. Spotted via The Takeout, the bar, which calls itself “The World’s First Dog Tap House” on its site, will open its doors just in time for Valentine’s Day on February 13 and will be stocked with craft beer, wine, cider (40 taps), and dogs that are looking for new homes. Patrons are also welcome to bring their own dogs to frolic on the bar patio. The bar features no alcohol signs or imagery on the walls—as Fido’s describes it, it’s a “‘temple’ to dogs.”  Aside from hanging out with the real-life dogs, anyone drinking their brews will be able to also sit back and watch videos probably a lot like this one on the bar’s TVs. With help from Oregon Friends of Shelter Animals, the Fido pups will be housed on site and you can come and meet the furry guys like Howard and Ivan until 11 p.m., according to the bar’s website. The bar welcomes children to come hang with the pups as well.
