The Legacy of a Whitetail Deer Hunter (July 6) The summer movie season of Josh Brolin continues. After appearing in Avengers: Infinity War as the villain Thanos, Deadpool 2 as the bionic-armed Cable, and Sicario: Day of the Soldado as slick CIA agent Matt Graver, Brolin is back again, this time as Buck Ferguson, a famous hunter with his own TV show. In this Netflix film, Brolin’s Buck sets out on a weekend hunting whitetail deer in the hopes of reconnecting with his son Jaden (Montana Jordan), while Buck’s TV show cameraman Don (Danny McBride) comes along for the ride to film it all. The trailer shows off the mix of ridiculous comedy and emotional weight that director Jody Hill (Eastbound & Down) has put together.
Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee: Freshly Brewed (July 6) Jerry Seinfeld brings his addictive Crackle series over to Netflix for the new Freshly Brewed season, and he has lined up some amazing guests. This time around, Jerry has Ellen DeGeneres, Dave Chappelle, Zach Galifianakis, Alec Baldwin, Dana Carvey, Kate McKinnon, and John Mulaney, among others, joining him for a ride, a meal, and of course, some coffee, as they talk about life, show business, and comedy.
Orange Is the New Black, Season 6 (July 27) The prison-set drama series is back for a new season. After the wild events of Season 5, including a prison riot, explosions, and the potential of a new prison setting, Orange is the New Black is ready to reveal the fates of characters like Piper (Taylor Schilling), Crazy Eyes (Uzo Aduba), and Red (Kate Mulgrew), who left off last season with many questions about the future. Tune in and find out.
