Beginning next week, a brand new film produced and directed by Yanfeng Zhang, and co-produced by Gwendolen Twis, We Are Triathletes will be premiering all over the U.S. The film takes you inside the lives of six pro athletes (from four different countries), and gives you a detailed glimpse into the grueling training that each athlete underwent while preparing for the 2014 Challenge Roth (the largest long-distance triathlon on the planet).

“Our characters come from different levels and different countries, so each of them has something unique to tell,” Zhang tells Triathlete Magazine. “This is an inspirational film on human triumph in addition to a sports documentary.” The film was also recently awarded the Award of Excellence by the Accolade Global Film Competition. Airing in 162 locations across North America, make sure to check the screening dates to find the location nearest you (as most locations are only showing it one time). Another screening will be held June 28 during the festival week of DATEV Challenge Roth in Germany.
