According to the New York Times, the International Olympic Committee has chosen four athletes, who share seven Olympic trips together: American biathlete Lanny Barnes, Greek-American distance runner Alexi Pappas, the British javelin thrower Roald Bradstock, and the Swiss fencer Jean-Blaise Evéquoz will not be competing in PeyongChang, but they will be creating in their respective artistic mediums.

Four years ago, the committee started the program to show that arts were still a large part of the Olympic games—medals were given in painting, sculpture, architecture, literature, and music from 1912 to 1948. When it comes to the 2018 games, the artists will focus on film and painting. Pappas, who ran in the 2016 Rio Olympics, is also a filmmaker and will shoot a variety of shorts with her fiance, Jeremy Teicher. And according to the Times, you can expect Nick Kroll in the films, along with other Olympic athletes. In the painting world, Bradstock, who competed in the 1984 Los Angeles and 1988 Seoul games, will oversee the production of 16 paintings by athletes who are competing in PyeongChang.

Meanwhile, fencer and painter Evéquoz, who took home the bronze in the 1976 Montreal Olympics, will team up with Bradstock on the event paintings. Joining Bradstock and Evéquoz will be Barnes, who competed in 2006, 2010, and 2014, and now makes “wildlife portraits created with charcoal.” She’ll assist in gathering athletes to create the Olympic paintings. While these artists create, all the other athletes will be competing in everything from figure skating to downhill skiing and hockey.
