This fall, Mammoth Mountain will introduce the longest and steepest zipline in North America, as reported by Snow Brains. Stretching to 2,100 vertical feet and starting from 11,053 feet high, riders will travel over a mile with the capability of hitting speeds over 55 mph. Riders will be given the option to ride it while seated, in a superman-style harness, and side-by-side with a friend.
Mammoth was recently acquired by Alterra Mountain Company and is a part of the Ikon Pass.
