Leave it to Kelly Slater to continually do things in surfing that other people simply can’t. His girlfriend Kalani Miller recently posted video footage of the duo surfing tandem at Slater’s Surf Ranch wave pool on a longboard … And of course, they got barreled.

Better than a double rainbow 🌈… it would only be appropriate for my first barrel to be with my ride or die @kellyslater #DoubleBarrel at Surf Ranch #When2Become1 @kswaveco @raimanaworld @wsl A post shared by Kalani Miller (@kalanimiller) on May 13, 2018 at 9:49am PDT

Miller is planted on the board midway toward the nose, while Slater is steering in the back and gently slots the duo into the barrel. As Miller notes on the Instagram post, this is her first barrel at the Surf Ranch. And it should come as no surprise, that it would come at the actual hands of Slater.
