“Avengers is a 700-pound purple dude, which was different than a 190-pound, scarred up, machine-armed guy—you know what I mean?” he said on the set of his June 2018 cover shoot for Men’s Journal. When asked who’d whomp whom, Brolin didn’t hesitate: “Oh, no. Thanos for sure,” he said. “There’s no contest. There’s no contest.” Avengers: Infinity War is in theaters now, and Deadpool 2 will premiere on May 19.
