Have you ever tasted BBQ from an authentic Texas roadhouse? Mingled with the local artisans in Santa Fe? Chased the sunset to Joshua Tree on the ultimate touring machine? Surfed in Ventura County?

Have you ever driven along Route 66 from Texas to Los Angeles? We think you should. So, we took some time to do the hard work for you. We hit the road with our friends Iron & Resin co-founder, Thom Hill and pro-surfer Luke DiTella, visiting the can’t-miss stops along this over two thousand mile drive to discover what lies beyond…

Along the way, we experienced some of the greatest adventures the road can offer, starting out our trip in Austin, TX and following the road all the way out to the California coast on the 2018 Honda Gold Wing, or as we like to call it – the ultimate touring machine.

About Luke DiTella

Pro surfer, motorcycle enthusiast and social influencer are only some of the titles Luke DiTella has on his CV. With a list that long, it’s no wonder that it’s hard for Luke to find time for himself. Follow along as Luke and his wife Melissa join Iron & Resin co-founder, Thom Hill, on an unforgettable cross-country journey that helped them all to unplug, unwind and reconnect with the open road.

About Thom Hill

If there’s two things California-based Iron & Resin co-founder Thom Hill loves – it’s surfing and riding. Join Thom as he takes on Old Route 66 with Luke & Melissa, showing them his favorite spots along the way and stopping to check out some off-the-beaten-path destinations he hasn’t visited before.
