Following Hydro Flask’s annual Garage Sale in Bend, Oregon, they collected just shy of $80,000 and donated it all to The Conservation Alliance, who (according to their mission statement) “engages business to fund and partner with organizations to protect wild places for their habitat and recreation values.” Hydro Flask has been a member since 2014 and identifies key nonprofit partners each year to participate and receive the proceeds. The decision is made by a vote of Hydro Flask employees … and this year, they knocked it out of the park.

Photo: Courtesy of The Conservation Alliance According to a release, Executive Director of The Conservation Alliance, John Sterling said, “Hydro Flask went above-and-beyond in making The Conservation Alliance the beneficiary of their annual Garage Sale, raising $79,740 in a mere five hours. We will put those funds to good use in our efforts to protect and defend wild lands and waters throughout North America for their recreation and habitat values.” The Conservation Alliance plans to put 25 percent of proceeds to their grant fund to support conservation initiatives throughout North America. The remaining funds will go toward a conservation project before the end of 2018.
