In fact, this Bend, Oregon native loves the mountains so much that she paused her plans to become a physical therapist in order to live her dream as a raft guide and Nordic ski coach. Applying the biomechanics that she learned from kinesiology, and translating that to her rafting and skiing clientele is what she lives for. The ability to think and act on the fly is vital in any outdoor activity, and Malmquist couldn’t be more thrilled that she gets to help others seize their opportunities to learn (and fall in love with) the two things she’s most passionate about.
