You can get it in either 42mm or 38mm sizes, and either a black or white band and space grey case. The 42mm normally costs $409, but this weekend it’s marked down 20 percent, to $329. The 38mm is marked down to $299 (from $379)—that’s 21 percent off.

The Apple Watch3 links to your phone via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, so you can stay connected while you’re running, lifting, swimming, HIITing, or whatever it is that’s keeping you sweating these days.

Yes, Apple recently came out with the Watch 4. But the Watch 3 series is still awesome—especially this version, which is outfitted with 4G and cellular connectivity. That means, if you have an iPhone and a wireless plan you can take a call no matter where you are, and no matter where your phone is. You can ask Siri to send a text message, or look up information. You’ll be able to stream your favorite songs while on your run, or in the middle of a surf or swim session. And you can do it all while leaving your phone safely behind. Built-in cellular gives you the freedom to move unencumbered.

What else can an Apple Watch do for you? Let us count the ways:

  • Track popular workouts like yoga, cycling, swimming, and high-intensity interval training.
  • Track your runs with advanced features for runners like cadence and pace alerts.
  • Pair wirelessly with compatible gym equipment.
  • Stay motivated by streaming Apple Music and Apple Podcasts.

That’s all very cool. But the Apple Watch 3 can also monitor your heart rate and screen for an irregular heartbeat. Emergency SOS lets you initiate an immediate call for help. The Breathe app can help you better manage everyday stress. And there’s so much more; choose from a host of health apps to support your specific routines or goals.

And that’s about to get far easier. Recently Apple announced watchOS 6, a major software upgrade coming this fall. New features include a standalone Watch App Store and fully independent Watch apps. Plus popular iPhone apps like Calculator, Voice Memos, and new health apps will be included. Both Series 3 and Series 4 owners will be able to install watchOS 6.
