“I said that line, I said it very quietly, we were about to move on, they were moving the cameras, and I said to the director, ‘Wait a minute, let me try something else.’ And I just thought, I’m just gonna go for it, like, “This is Sparta!” Butler said in a video interview. “I turned around and all the stunt guys were standing, laughing. And I go to the director, “It was too much, right, too much?” He goes, “Yeah! But it was awesome!” Butler, who stars in this month’s crime drama Den of Thieves alongside 50 Cent, also talks about working with one of the most famous rappers of all time, how he adopted his new dog, and what he does to stay in superhero shape.
