What happens to Captain America at the end of Avengers: Endgame? It’s a question on every Marvel fan’s mind leading up to the film’s premiere on April 26. “You can’t ask me that!” action star Chris Evans tells contributing editor Jesse Will in our May cover story. Evans wields his shield once again for his role as Cap in Marvel’s next installment in the biggest movie franchise ever. READ CHRIS EVANS’ MEN’S JOURNAL COVER STORY Before Endgame’s release, we headed to Massachusetts to spend some time with Evans at his farmhouse close to where he grew up, meeting his rescue dog, Dodger, and seeing a special gift from fellow superhero and Avengers co-star Robert Downey Jr.: a restored 1967 Camaro RS. “I was never much of a ‘I can’t wait to leave this town’ kind of kid,” Evans says. “This is home to me. I have no desire to lay down roots anywhere else.” But soon audiences all over the world will see Evans onscreen playing Steve Rogers. And, as Evans told us, finishing Endgame got pretty emotional. “For the last month of filming I was letting myself go to work every day and be a little overwhelmed and a little nostalgic and grateful. By the last day, I was bawling. I cry pretty easy, but I was definitely bawling.” You can read the full cover story here. And starting today, you can pick up the new issue of Men’s Journal on stands everywhere, featuring contributing editor Adam Erace’s guide, “Make Your Own,” which gives you 19 delicious recipes—cacciatore sausage, ice cream, fresh mozzarella, need we say more?—you can whip up in your own kitchen and Devin Gordon’s must-read profile of New York Mets’ GM Brodie Van Wagenen. Plus, we’ve got the ultimate upgrade for your barbell workouts, The Last Word from none other than the Karate Kid himself, Ralph Macchio, along with spring style staples and tons of the best new gear you’re going to want this spring.
