If you’ve been eyeing Outerknown and haven’t gotten around to pulling the trigger, the time is now. We’ve been big fans of this brand, born from a collaboration between world champion surfer Kelly Slater and menswear designer John Moore, since it launched back in 2015, for its combination of beach casual and sharp style. Outerknown combines so many of the things we love: quality materials, a sustainable approach, and of course clothes that look amazing.  Outerknown combines so many of the things we love: quality materials, a sustainable approach, and of course clothes that look amazing.  Spring has a ton of Outerknown on sale right now at up to 70 percent off, including plenty of summer blowout items like shorts and striped tees. And if you can’t find what you’re looking for at Spring, the brand’s annual Summer Sale is going on at the Outerknown website. Here are a few of our favorite sale items from Outerknown, selections that should carry you well into autumn.

The Beach Shirt Made from a crisp organic 100 percent Portuguese cotton that’s ultra soft, the Beach Camp Shirt ($58, normally $145) is perfect for throwing on when you’ve been at the beach all day and are heading straight to your next destination, whether that’s dinner or drinks, or just for when the sun sets and the night gets cool. We’d be hard pressed to decide which color we like more, the bright whitewater or the dark indigo. Both offer the same relaxed fit that’s great for layering and will take you from summer into early fall.

The Noche Crew The Noche Crew, ($68, regular price: $225) with its deep navy color and raw rolled edges at the crew neck and chest pocket, give this sweater a distinctive look that’s laid back but still classy, think James Dean and Errol Flynn having beachside cocktails at a half-deserted hotel in late September. It’s great for those fall nights when the air is crisp and you’re staring into a campfire replaying your summer memories. Plus, it’s 100 organic cotton so you’re helping out the environment while looking good, a win-win.

Cover Jacket The Cover Jacket ($106, regular price $265) is just fun. It’s got that classic bomber jacket look with a twist. It’s made from a mid-weight recycled wool blend and features a knit jacquard camouflage pattern. It’s got a kangaroo pocket and a ribbed collar, hem and sleeve cuffs. You’ll stand out even as you blend in (get it? It’s camouflage).  For more than 25 years, Men’s Journal has been the expert in all things gear — from mountain bikes to fitness trackers, blenders to watches, and drones to cars. We take pride in a rigorous review process that includes testing and torturing.
