Although Polartec athlete Baker Boyd loves skiing back in Aspen, where he’s considered a bit of a local legend, he recently hit the slopes all the way across the world. Boyd took a trip to Japan and met with Nori Suzuki, founder of the Japanese apparel brand Teton Bros., who works with Polartec on creating custom fabric for its skiing apparel. Boyd stayed for two weeks and got a crash course in Japanese ski culture. As part of the Colorado ski group dubbed “The Freaks,” Boyd has shown he knows his way around any type of mountain, and his trip to Japan was no different.
