All December long, Applebee’s will be helping you tell your visiting relatives how you REALLY feel. Applebee’s, the chain that promotes Eating Good in the Neighborhood, is offering $1 glasses of Long Island Iced Tea cocktails for the entire month. It’s a true Christmas miracle. In a clear bid to millennials (who can’t stop killing chain restaurants) the company is calling its promotion “Dollar L.I.T.” Get it? These things will get you lit kids! (Also, shouldn’t it be L.I.I.T.? Maybe their marketing team put a few of these lower-priced drinks away during a strategy session.)  The surefire hangover-inducing beverage usually includes vodka, rum, gin, tequila, triple sec, sweet-and-sour mix, and a bit of Pepsi, the preferred soda of Applebee’s. And this isn’t the first time they’ve shown a little holiday generosity: the company offered $1 margaritas in October.

The vice president of beverage innovation at Applebee’s, Patrick Kirk, is certain this will bring everyone together this holiday season. “The Dollar L.I.T. is kind to your pocket book and a great drink to share with old friends and new ones this holiday season,” he said in a press release.  If nothing else, they definitely pair well with a Caprese Mozarella Burger.
